Farmer's Market

You can find us at all the Island Farmer's Markets this season:

The Kitchen Porch got her start at the Farmer's Market in West Tisbury back in 1988. We sold spicy peanut sauce, vinegars, pestos, and smoked bluefish pate.

Oliver Osnoss, Jan's son was born in 1990 and he grew up selling his mom's goodies on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The catering business expanded from the Market.

This year, in collaboration with our local farms, we are offering a new line of local preserves. It may be wild pickled ramps or Morning Glory Farm strawberries and balsamic jam or our own island peach chutney.

We have also added cheese. Currently we are selling fresh mozarrella truffles packed with a local punch. The truffle may be island herb and mascapone or our own preserved lemon and extra virgin olive oil.

And, a true luxury is our own pastured Island Chicken Liver Spread.

The Farmer's Market is the place we feel most at home and connected to the local growers and suppliers.  Every week our menu changes, just because we like to try new items, but here is a list of recent offerings for the 2010 market season:
