Tzimmes

5-6 sweet potatoes (about 2 pounds)
4 Tablespoons butter
½ cup honey
1 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup figs chopped into small pieces
½ cup pitted prunes chopped into small pieces
