For me, food and life are one in the same.

It is the interconnectedness of the seasons in planting and harvesting and my relationship to the farmers. It is the delicate balance of food purchases and continually asking myself if I am contributing to the depletion of natural resources, to animal endangerment or to mono-crop abundance.

It is the convivial conversation over a meal with family and friends. I come from a large family who cares about food and environmental issues and I have been working closely with farmers and fisherman and chefs who continually share and teach their wisdom.

Here is where I reflect and share that which I wonder about, learn and know.
