Cooking Class & Grey Barn Farm Tour: Cheese, Vegetables and Eggs

Regretfully, we have had to cancel Friday’s class due to unforeseen circumstances. Please let us know if you are interested in taking it at a later date.

We will begin our afternoon at the Grey Barn & Farm with a behind-the-scenes tour of this organic farm: the cows, the chickens and the resting vegetable garden. A demonstration cooking class will follow, centered around the Grey Barn’s organic fresh vegetables, farm eggs and award-winning farm cheeses. We will conclude with a cheese tasting and discussion.
Vegetable Soup 
   We will make a delicious vegetable soup and stock for you to take home!
Cheese Soufflé
    Who doesn’t love a soufflé? Once you know how to make one, the flavors are endless!
Cheese Board and Salad 
     We will explore the different varieties of cheese. Get all your questions answered about cheese and cheese production.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time to check in. Classes start on time!
  • We suggest appropriate, dry or warm clothes (rain or shine).
  • Consider bringing a long a pair of garden gloves if you intend to harvest anything—the opportunity may present itself.
  • Closed toe shoes are also suggested and we ask that long hair is tied back for all classes.
  • All cooking class students receive a 10% discount on any purchase made on the day of the class.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Changes or cancellations made 7 days or more before the class date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than a week before the class are non-refundable.
  • No refunds, credits, rebookings or date exchanges can be given for cancellations or no-shows.
  • If this policy doesn’t work for you, please do not pre-enroll, as walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
  • Reservations are transferable, so if you are unable to attend a class you may send someone in your place without notice.
  • In rare cases, we may have to cancel a class. We will provide you with 24 hours notice and a full refund.

Substitutions in class: 

  • Sometimes we may need to substitute ingredients, menu items, recipes or instructors.


  • You are always welcome to bring your own wine or other beverages.
