Ancient Foods: Kimchi, Kombucha & Sea Vegetables

Come learn about the properties of fermentation and sea vegetables.

In this class we will learn about the properties of ancient nourishing foods of kimchi, kombucha and sea vegetables.

We will learn how to make the ancient salad of Korea; Kimchi.

Kombucha is fermented green tea and sugar and contains loads of cultures along with several organic acids, active enzymes, amino acids, and polyphenols.

Fermented Foods are just a few superfoods that have been used for millennia. We will learn about fermentation and how its disuse in the preparation of stable foods is one of the causes of chronic disease. Fermenting makes minerals for absorption, produces vitamin B12 and increases the content of other vitamins and enzymes. We will learn how to ferment vegetables. We will also learn about sea vegetables and how to incorporate them into your daily life. When we eat sea vegetables we are tapping into ancestral and restorative sources of all life- the ocean!
