Giving Thanks to our Food Sources and Health

With John Bagnulo and Jan Buhrman

Martha’s Vineyard

November 14 & 15

Join us for a lesson in how eating closer to our food sources increases our health and how to cook delicious meals quickly and simply. We will look at our food sources and learn how what we eat not only influences our health but also the health of our planet.

We will learn to eat for nutritional balance while minimizing our carbon footprint and reducing our use of unnecessary animal protein. We will learn a variety of recipes and each day we will conclude with a meal that we eat together with questions and answers and further discussions.

Topics covered will include eating low on the food chain, composting, going local, sustainable agriculture, finding nutrient density in your choices, and giving thanks.
